SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — October 27, 2026. City residents preparing to clear bulky waste from their properties have a scheduled public disposal opportunity this weekend. San Bernardino’s official city calendar lists a Community Dump Day at Perris Hill Park on Saturday, October 31, from 8 to 11 a.m.
What the city says residents can bring
The city identifies old appliances, mattresses, tires, broken furniture, tree limbs and electronic waste such as televisions and printers among the items it expects to accept. The event location is Perris Hill Park, 1135 East Highland Avenue, at Highland and Valencia avenues.
Residents should not infer from this summary that hazardous chemicals, paint, asbestos or every kind of debris will be accepted. Waste facilities frequently have separate handling requirements for hazardous substances and commercial loads. Before transporting an unusual item, consult the current city event page or Public Works guidance.
Why disposal access matters
Bulky items can be difficult and expensive to remove without a truck or curbside collection arrangement. A city collection event can reduce illegal dumping and help residents keep lots and streets clean. But a three-hour event cannot replace regular household waste service, and its posted schedule may change if trucks fill or weather interferes.
This notice is not evidence the event has already occurred. Residents should confirm any proof-of-residency rules, limits per vehicle and current participation conditions with city Public Works.
